The Association of Agricultural Research Institutions in the Near East and North Africa (AARINENA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development (AOAD) at its headquarters in the Jordanian capital Amman on Tuesday, 8/ 10/ 2019 . The MoU was signed by Prof. Rida Shibli, the Executive Secretary of AARINENA and
Prof. Ibrahim Al-Dukhairi, the General Director of AOAD.

The signing of this MoU reinforces the efforts of AARINENA & AOAD to expand partnerships with various bodies and organizations concerned with research in the agricultural sector in both plant and animal sectors in order to build human capacities working in this field and increase the capacity of NENA peoples to protect and sustain their natural resources and cooperate in the preparation of documents. Projects of community development, agrarian reform and rural development at the national and regional level in the NENA countries through the implementation of studies and projects and the organization of forums and workshops and utilizing their outputs to achieve the goals of Sustainable development conscious in the NENA region.
