His Excellency Prof. Rida Shibli praised the efforts made by both the Agricultural Engineers and Beekeepers’ Associations in ensuring the success of such an important forum, which serves one of the most dynamic agricultural sectors. The beekeeping sector holds significant importance for both consumers and the community’s development, as it represents household production projects that provide an acceptable income for many families.

Eng. Ali Abu Nuqta, President of the Agricultural Engineers Association, also commended the role of the Beekeepers’ Association in advancing the beekeeping sector and helping it achieve its goals of overcoming the challenges facing the industry, while delivering accurate information and necessary practices to both consumers and beekeepers alike.

Prof. Dr. Mohammad Al-Fuqeer Al-Rababaa, President of the Beekeepers’ Association, emphasized that this forum is the first step towards the association’s plan to hold a regional conference for those interested in the beekeeping sector. He stressed the importance of such conferences in fostering cooperation and exchanging expertise among specialists in the region.

Prof. Dr. Firas Al-Zyoud, Head of the Preparatory Committee from Mutah University, highlighted the importance of this forum in steering the beekeeping industry in Jordan towards safety, especially in the face of global climate change and the geopolitical conditions in the region. Dr. Al-Zyoud also noted that the forum is hosting seventeen speakers from five Arab countries, covering topics across three main themes over the course of two days.
