AARINENA proudly announces its representation on the 2024–2026 Steering Committee of the Tropical Agriculture Platform (TAP), reaffirming its dedication to advancing global agricultural innovation and capacity development.
AARINENA participated virtually in the first TAP Steering Committee meeting of 2025, held on 17 March 2025, convened by the TAP Secretariat. The meeting brought together Steering Committee members and observers to discuss the platform’s strategic direction and align priorities for the upcoming term.
The agenda included updates on TAP-related activities such as the TAP Roadmap 2025–2030, outcomes from regional events in Africa and Asia-Pacific, and the alignment of TAP’s work with the G20 MACS priorities. The meeting also featured the official confirmation and welcome of the incoming Steering Committee members and observers, as well as the handover of the TAP Chair.
AARINENA’s active role in the Steering Committee demonstrates its strong commitment to supporting capacity development for agricultural innovation systems worldwide, and to collaborating with global partners to build more resilient and sustainable food systems.
