The Association of Agricultural Research Institutions in the Near East and North Africa (AARINENA) was honored to participate in the technical workshop entitled “The Samh Plant Towards Sustainable Development”, held today in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. This workshop represents a critical initiative aimed at advancing local livelihoods and enhancing the resilience and sustainability of regional food systems.
The workshop was convened by The Hashemite Fund for the Development of Jordan Badia, with the support of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). It took place under the distinguished patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Basma Bint Ali, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Hashemite Fund.
AARINENA is privileged to contribute to this national endeavor dedicated to sustainable development and the promotion of local biodiversity.
