AARINENA is pleased to announce its formal recognition as a Strategic Partner of the Global South Ministers, Farmers, Academia and Chambers of Commerce Summit, Awards & Expo 2026 (GSM-FACC 2026), a flagship initiative operating under the Global South Integrated Development Framework (GS-IDF).
This partnership reflects AARINENA’s growing role in advancing agricultural research, innovation, food security, and sustainable rural development across the Near East and North Africa region and beyond. The announcement follows AARINENA’s active engagement in the GSM-FACC Steering Committee inauguration, where global leaders and institutions came together to strengthen cooperation in support of agricultural transformation and sustainable development across the Global South.
As part of this strategic partnership, AARINENA has also confirmed its participation in the Governance, Policy and Institutional Affairs Sub-Committee. Through this role, the Association will contribute its extensive expertise in agricultural research, policy dialogue, institutional strengthening, and multi-stakeholder engagement to support the objectives of the GS-IDF framework.
AARINENA maintains a broad network of partnerships with national agricultural research systems, universities, regional and international organizations, development agencies, and policy institutions. These collaborations promote innovation-driven agricultural development, climate resilience, food security, and sustainable resource management. Through its participation in GSM-FACC 2026, AARINENA will further contribute to fostering stronger linkages among governments, research institutions, farmers’ organizations, academia, private sector actors, and chambers of commerce throughout the Global South.
The Association welcomes the opportunity to work alongside partners from Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean in advancing inclusive agricultural transformation, knowledge exchange, investment opportunities, and sustainable development initiatives.
