The Association of Agricultural Research Institutions in the Near East and North Africa (AARINENA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Jerash University to strengthen collaboration in agricultural research, education, and innovation.
The agreement was signed by Prof. Mohammad Al-Khalaileh, President of Jerash University, and Prof. Rida Shibli, Executive Secretary of AARINENA.
The collaboration will cover key areas such as rural development, biotechnology, food and water security, smart and sustainable agriculture, and the development of educational and training programs. A joint coordination committee will be established to oversee the implementation of activities under an annual work plan.
This partnership reflects a shared vision to enhance agricultural innovation and sustainability, benefiting researchers, practitioners, and communities across the Near East and North Africa region.
