AARINENA, represented by its Executive Secretary Prof. Rida Shibli, participated in the Scientific Day of the Faculty of Agriculture at Jerash University, held under the patronage of University President Prof. Mohammad Al-Khalaileh.
Prof. Shibli delivered a scientific paper titled “Food Security in Jordan and a Fair Transition to the Green Economy”, in which he emphasized the importance of adopting balanced agricultural and environmental policies to ensure resource sustainability and social equity in economic benefits. He also stressed aligning national plans with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The event brought together experts, researchers, agricultural institutions, and private sector representatives to discuss sustainable agricultural practices, water efficiency, smart farming technologies, and strategies for strengthening food security in Jordan.
AARINENA’s participation reflects its commitment to fostering partnerships with academic institutions, supporting knowledge exchange, and promoting innovation in agriculture across the region.
