AARINENA is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with OLITEC, a leading Jordanian company specializing in technological solutions for olive farming and processing.
The MoU was signed between Dr. Rida Shibli, Executive Secretary of AARINENA, and Eng. Ahmad Al-Noubani, Executive Director of OLITEC, at AARINENA’s office located at the National Agricultural Research Center (NARC) in Jordan.
This strategic partnership aims to enhance cooperation in research, innovation, and capacity-building in the olive sector. AARINENA and OLITEC will work together to promote sustainable olive cultivation practices, introduce advanced technologies in harvesting and oil production, and facilitate knowledge exchange and networking among stakeholders in the region.
OLITEC, established in 2018, has gained recognition for its role in modernizing olive production in Jordan through importing high-efficiency European machinery and offering integrated support to investment-scale olive farms. Its strong connection with local farmers, agricultural engineers, and field experts positions it as a key player in the agricultural innovation ecosystem.
This MoU reflects AARINENA’s continued commitment to fostering public-private partnerships that contribute to agricultural development, food security, and sustainable rural economies in the Near East and North Africa.
