Signing of a cooperation agreement between the “Wadi Association for the Development of Sustainable Ecosystems (WADI)” and the “Association of Agricultural Research Institutions in the Near East and North Africa (AARINENA)”

AARINENA signed a joint cooperation agreement for a period of three years with the Association for the Sustainable Ecosystems Development (WADI).
Under the agreement signed by Mr. Tariq Abu Talib, Executive Director of the Wadi Association for the Development of Sustainable Ecosystems (WADI) and His Excellency Dr. Rida Shibli, Executive Secretary AARINENA, work will be done to develop and support joint cooperation frameworks in scientific research mechanisms in The agricultural sector and especially in the area of restoring forests and pastures for climate resilience, community livelihoods, and long-term water security.
The agreement provides for strengthening cooperation in the fields of research and training, providing technical and economic advisory services, technical support, organizing and holding conferences, seminars and workshops of common interest, and cooperation between the two parties in the field of media to announce joint events.
The two parties will also work jointly with regard to collecting and preserving water, raising awareness in society regarding the rationalization of water consumption, and seeking to support scientific research to maintain water security in the long term.
