Dr. RIda ShIbli, the Executive Secretary of AARINENA, participated in the proceedings of a scientific seminar organized by the National Coalition Party in the Jordanian capital, Amman. The seminar aimed to discuss the effects of the war in Gaza on food security in Jordan, considering the changes in food supply methods in the Middle East since October 7th due to regional events.
This seminar reflects AARINENA’s commitment to engage with the living reality of the Near East. Dr. Rida discussed the reality of food security in Jordan before and after the war, addressing the challenges and ways to overcome them. The discussion took place in partnership with Dr. Fadel Al-Zu’bi, an expert and international consultant in food security issues, along with Dr. Radeena Al-Batarseh, the head of the food security dossier in the party.
